Job Description: Senior Software Developer

Start Date: October 2008 – Filled

Salary: up to £40,000

TriSys is looking for a high calibre software developer to join its software development division in Cambridge.  Reporting directly to the Chief Software Architect, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic (COM & .NET), as well as having the desire to carry out a range of duties including development of data migration tools as well as developing sophisticated components and utilities on the Microsoft platform. The job will involve a close working relationship with both fellow developers and the IT, delivery and support teams.

The responsibilities of the position include:

·         Developing software for specialized components and utilities

·         Development of TriSys V8 client and server components

·         Design and Development of TriSys V9 product suite

·         Working with customers to develop bespoke functionality

·         Liaising with first level support department

·         Conducting software installation and customisation

·         Communication with customers

·         Training of junior technical staff

·         Requirements for the position are:

·         Solid technical ability in SQL, VB6 and VB.Net

·         Ability to work with customers and colleagues from different departments

·         Willingness to learn TriSys from the ground-up
