Job Description: Software Developer

Start Date: April 2008 – Filled

Salary: up to £30,000

TriSys is looking for a high calibre software developer with good potential to join its software development division in Cambridge.  Reporting directly to the Development Manager, the successful candidate will have sound knowledge of SQL and Visual Basic (COM or .NET), as well as having the desire to carry out a range of duties including development of data migration tools as well as developing sophisticated components and utilities on the Microsoft platform. The job will involve a close working relationship with both fellow developers and the IT, delivery and support teams.

The responsibilities of the position include:

·         Developing software for specialized components and utilities

·         Progressing to development of TriSys V7 client and server components

·         Developing data conversion scripts and tools

·         Liaising with first level support department

·         Second level support and maintenance

·         Conducting software installation and customisation

·         Communication with customers

·         Training of junior technical staff

·         Join TriSys V8 development team

·         Requirements for the position are:

·         Solid technical ability in SQL and VB  

·         Ambition to improve knowledge through study

·         Willingness to learn TriSys from the ground-up
