Action functions now have a new field to allow an e-mail template file to be assigned. This file can contain references to other files so that for example formatted signatures can be incorporated into all e-mails generated.

CV Auto-Recognition has undergone a series of significant enhancements:

View CV button available from file selection (Tab #1) to allow for CV's to be viewed and edited.

When the e-mail folder is accessed from the CVAR form when processing an e-mail, the folder list is not populated. This drastically improves performance.

Only the top 100 contact matches are displayed, thus improving end-user performance and reducing server and network load.

The check boxes to specify which fields to search for duplicates now defaults to Forename(s) and Surname. The operation of these check boxes is now an exclusive AND (rather than an OR in previous releases).

The Name/Address & Telephone Numbers tab has been renamed Demographics.

CV text is automatically loaded into the CVBody tab.

Skills are automatically extracted with other data so that user can override these settings using drag/drop.

HR-XML - this contains a complete tree diagram of the entire HR-XML document object model (DOM) returned from the external CV parsing engine (e.g. Daxtra, Alex or BurningGlass). This view contains all of the HR-XML nodes including collections of work histories, qualifications, education and competencies (skills).

Work History - this shows an editable grid containing all work histories extracted from the HR-XML data stream. The user can directly edit these of drag/drop work histories directly from the CV view. The grid columns include the dates, employer, location, department, job title and full job description.

Skills - this shows a list of all skills extracted from the CV together with the competency rating and also evidence rating. Where skills and categories are extracted, the TriSys skills categories and skills can be automatically generated negating the need to setup categories and skills before processing CV's.

Education - this contains all extracted education history records from HR-XML. This grid is editable and history can be dragged/dropped from the CV.

DbMigration generates new table schema and associated contact form fields to hold the work history and education now parsed from HR-XML. The new fields need to be drag/dropped into existing form designs in order to be operational.

- Free text searches containing double quotes " are now replaced with single quotes ' before being sent through the ISYS engine. This minimises user confusion when no search results are displayed.
- Actions can now be run against the search results on both the requirement and candidate search forms.
- When an action is run from a placement record which is derived from a requirement, the placement contact details are displayed, not the original requirement contact details.

- Lookup fields whose values contain commas (,) are now saved correctly.
- /S command line option inhibits the version checking (because indexing server rarely needs upgrading and many instances may run in an ASP environment)
- Addition of new e-mail merge fields: <<Company.WebPage>> and <<Requirement.Comments>>.
- When indexing is being performed, no scheduled indexing can interrupt this processing until it is complete.
- CRLF is stripped when pasted into single line text fields, preventing data input errors.

- Multi-select on frmContacts (Client Contacts & Candidates) and frmCompanies (Client Companies) forms is now enabled. Users can multi-select using the mouse in association with Shift or Control keys.
- Only those records which are multi-selected on frmContacts and frmCompanies forms can now be invoked from Actions.
- The multi-selected records on frmContacts and frmCompanies forms can now be edited in sequence in the associated record form (frmPerson & frmCompany respectively) using the VCR control if a number of records are selected and the <Enter> key is pressed.

- Unlock code challenge forms now shows the web link to the www.trisys.biz web site. By clicking on this link, the user is taken to the web site and the code is pre-filled to minimise error. The user simply requests the code and drags the unlock code into the TriSys unlock dialogue to authenticate.
- Form designer can now be licensed for all designer licenses by entering a DESL unlock code on startup. The designer license file and database settings are checked first, and only if they are not present, will the user be prompted for the DESK code. Entering the correct unlock code will allow access to all functions until the form designer is closed.
- Support Request... menu option now available from the Help menu. This opens a browser and takes the user to the www.trisys.biz web site where support can be requested.

- CV Auto-Recognition now allows limits on number of CV's which can be processed at a time. This is set from the Options-->Maximum CV's to Process menu options. This option permits folders containing very large numbers of CV's to be processed quickly and efficiently without causing persistent refreshing.

- E-Mail merge actions which create separate e-mails for each contact in the list now correctly replaces the e-mail placeholders (e.g. <<ClientContact.Name>>) in the e-mail text at run-time. Previously this only worked correctly when e-mail actions were invoked for a single contact.
- Requirement address can now be changed using the Edit-->Re-assign Address menu option. The address can be set to the address of any company on the database. This caters for the scenario where a clients head office may procure the agencies services for a job in another location. The radial searching within TriSys Web is thus enhanced automatically by this feature.

- Outlook now automates TriSys using an Outlook toolbar button. This button exports the current Outlook e-mail into TriSys from where the user can take action such as launching CV Auto-Recognition, save e-mail against matching contact details etc...

- Save Copy of Mail Merge Template option now removed from Form Designer Action Builder as it is now obsolete.
- New document format type available from mail-merge actions: PDF. This allows the document to be converted to an Adobe Acrobat format thus preserving layout, graphics and importantly for agencies, intellectual property.
