TriSys On The Move - Wireless E-Mail & Mobile Access

On the Move

Remote access to corporate information has become a necessity as workers become increasingly mobile. Candidates and clients now expect to be able to interact with recruitment consultants at any time and from any location. It is now a key business requirement for recruiters to be able to access all types of information whilst on the move.

TriSys Mobile is the solution to this problem, and provides recruiters with a comprehensive suite of products and services to facilitate 'recruitment on the move'. They key components are:

TriSys ASP utilises Exchange 2003/2007 server for e-mail management. Exchange is a very powerful e-mail and groupware server which sits at the heart of TriSys ASP to manage all e-mail for customers. ASP Customers are able to access their e-mail from a web browser technology called Outlook Web Access (OWA). This provides a secure web application to allow access to e-mail from any public internet terminal or from a mobile phone. Please click here to learn more about TriSys ASP e-mail.

The same Exchange technology described above can also be accessed by ASP customers using the e-mail application on their Windows Mobile device running version 5 or later. This provides 'push' e-mail which is sent via wireless to/from the mobile phone. Of course, the TriSys E-Mail Synchronisation technology permits all incoming and outgoing e-mail to be logged against all senders/recipients, thus providing a full audit-trail of all correspondence between recruitment consultants and their customers and candidates.

The TriSys Mobile client software for Version 8.0 runs on Windows mobile phones and provides a real-time interface to the data held in the TriSys database. The application permits full phone functionality by being able to click phone numbers and make calls, click e-mail addresses and send e-mail, and click URL's to open a web page. The mobile client uses a secure web service to authenticate login details and redirect to the appropriate data web service hosting the TriSys SQL Server database and G:\ drive. Consultants are then able to download and view CV's, maps, photos whilst on the move in any location - a true mobile database application.
