An entity is a real-world ‘thing’ which is modelled in the database so that records can be kept. The entities in TriSys are: Contact, Company, Address, Task, User, Requirement, Placement, Timesheet, Sales Invoice, Purchase Invoice, Purchase Order, Payment and PayDetails. Various ‘entity searches’ allow for the searching of records for each of the entities.
