Filter

The grid filter functionality allows for the filtering of the data in the grid using a combination of any field. The following grid filter dialogue is displayed:

The following buttons are available:

•      Add – add a field to the list of fields to be filtered.

•      Remove – remove the selected field to be filtered.

•      Clear Filter – remove all fields to be filtered.

•      Apply – apply the filter criteria to the grid contents.

•      Cancel – cancel the filter operation.

There are 3 columns in this filter grid:

•      Field – the name of the field to be filtered.

•      Operator – the type of operation to be used against the field using the value:

•      Value – the value to be used in the operation for the field.

For example, the following filter will search for all contacts whose first name is either Will, William, Wilma etc..
