General

The general settings are very basic settings which ensure that the application is installed correctly and that it is able to update itself to a new version where appropriate:

Application Folder

This is where the application is installed.

The location can be altered by using the button to the right of the field.

 

Setup Folder

This is the typically the location from where the application was installed.

In order for the application to automatically update itself from new versions, the location of this folder should have an Update sub folder containing new versions of the executable and optional libraries.

On-Line Help

There are two available types of help when F1 is pressed:

Pop-Up Help: This help will appear in a pop-up window and uses the HTML Help format. This help normally appears as follows:

 

Docked Help: This help will appear in a docked window entitled Dynamic Help to the left of the application and uses the Net Help format. This help normally appears as follows:
