The options panel contains two groups of options used to process the e-mail.
Mutually Exclusive Options:
• Update Selected Contact
This option should be selected when an existing database client contact has sent an e-mail and it should be logged against their record, or perhaps their e-mail address has changed, or they got married and their surname changed.
• Create New Contact
This option should be selected when no database record match has been found for the client contact. This is fast means of harvesting marketing e-mails and turning these into prospects.
• Auto Recognise CV
This option should be selected when the sender is a candidate and has attached a CV. Selecting this option will send the CV automatically into the CVAR form upon use of the Proceed button below.
Inclusive Options:
• Record E-Mail as Note/History
This option should be selected when using either of the first two options on the left. It records the e-mail as a note/history tagged against the existing/new contact.
• Update E-Mail Address
This option should be selected when using either of the first two options on the left. It should be selected when the sender has changed their e-mail address and the existing old e-mail is to be replaced in their record.
• Open Contacts for Edit on Completion
This option should be selected when using either of the first two options on the left. It should be selected when the senders contact record should be opened after this form is closed.
