References Tab

The references tab is where all referee details are recorded so that referees can be used both to support the candidates application, but also as a potential source of future lead generation.

The tab consists of a grid and a series of buttons to the right:

 Add a new referee to the grid. When selected, this button opens the following dialogue:

This modal form captures the information for the referee and allows the referee to be linked to an existing company as well as creating a new company (and address). The form also captures the type of reference received from the referee and the period for which it is valid. When the form is saved, a new contact is created of type referee and is displayed as a row in the grid.

 Update the selected referee record. The above dialogue is opened with the selected record details completed. Update can also be done by double clicking the grid row.

 Delete the selected referee record. Following confirmation, the referee record is deleted from the database (complete with all note/histories) and also removed from the contact referees grid.

 Open the contact form of the selected referee record.
