Search Results

Following the use of the Search button on the Search Criteria tab, the Search Results tab is selected whilst the search is conducted.

Upon completion, the grid will show all records returned:

The grid can be used in the normal fashion.

There are four buttons above the grid:

Favourite: Add the selected record(s) to the list of favourites. The records are held in the Favourites tab/grid for this search only. Multi-select of records can be carried out using the {Shift} and {Ctrl} keys. Once this button has been pressed, the grid refreshes and the selected record(s) will not be visible in this grid, only in the Favourites tab/grid.

Exclude: Remove the selected record(s) to the list of excluded records. The records are held in the Excluded tab/grid for this search only. Multi-select of records can be carried out using the {Shift} and {Ctrl} keys. Once this button has been pressed, the grid refreshes and the selected record(s) will not be visible in this grid, only in the Excluded tab/grid.

Open: Drills down into the entity record by opening the entity edit form so that further detail can be viewed or edited.

Actions: The actions button operated like a menu and drops down a list of actions which can be run against entity records:

In this example, the Contact entity has a number of contact actions.
