A task is either a scheduled appointment shown in the diary, or a note/history against one or more contacts. Tasks have a start and end date/time, a type, and can be assigned to one or more users, one or more contacts, one or more entities and have an attachment. Tasks are generated automatically by actions and are thus numerous throughout the database.
