Timesheet Hours Grid

This grid is where the hours for each of the selected period are entered.

The Period column to the left will reflect the Frequency field and the timesheet period so may show individual days, weeks or months.

Successive columns are the rates which have been setup for the placement. The first of these columns is the standard rate i.e. the normal hours of work rate. The following columns would typically be the overtime rates if any have been set up.

This grid is designed to work like a spreadsheet, so entering hours is simply a case of typing into the appropriate hourly capture cell. Typing any of the arrow keys after each number saves the hours, then moves to the next cell in the specified direction. This facilitates rapid and intuitive data entry.
