The TriSys-Reading icon will not connect to the desktop.
The TriSys-Reading connection will cease to function as we roll out our Disaster Recovery solution.
TriSys Business Software is always looking at new and emerging technologies to see if we can provide a better experience for our customers.
We noted that when there was a power outage in Reading, although customers had access to their e-mail via the web, customers had no access to their Database or CV’s.
Over the past few months we have been investigating and trailing different methods to provide a more reliable service in the event of a catastrophic failure at our ASP location.
As a consequence of this we have employed a new Disaster Recovery method which mirrors our ASP network, and we are ready to deploy this soon.
To enable us to direct you to your new server quickly in the event of a catastrophic failure, TriSys Business Software has developed a remote login via its current Web Site to direct all users into the TriSys ASP system.
Customers working from home or from a remote location (Café etc) or using a MAC based PC will no longer need to download the Remote Desktop (TriSys-Reading Icon) to their local computer or laptop, or have to reconfigure the Icon in any way if they so choose.
You can however download our new login program onto your Microsoft Windows desktop also.
(No Download For Mac’s, sorry)
To log onto the TriSys Desktop or to download the new program please use ”Internet Explorer” and go to:
To Login Via The Website (Microsoft and MAC PC’s)
· Enter your “Login Name” and “Password”
· Change the resolution to “Full Screen” and select “Login”
· This will automatically log you onto your TriSys desktop.
· Please save this as a favourite within your local Internet Explorer.
To Download The Login Program (Microsoft PC’s)
· Enter your “Login Name” and “Password” and select “Desktop Shortcut”
· This will download the login program to your desktop
In the event of a catastrophic failure TriSys Business Software will redirect you to a new server where you will be able to access All of your company’s information.
Please download this login program as soon as possible so as to receive the benefits should a failure occur.
We will discontinue the TriSys-Reading icon in the near future.
