Our client is a rapidly growing business with an established and successful web presence. To support their continued expansion they now have a vacancy for a Business Development Manager within their Business Development team.
The growth of our clients business is dependant on effective relationships with their suppliers. The role of the BDM is critical in managing and retaining these supplier relationships. The BDM will manage the Business Development team who have a portfolio of over 200 suppliers, negotiate commercial terms to achieve growth and margin objectives, manage the product portfolio and develop effective supplier relationships. The BDM will also be responsible for building working relationships with internal operational teams.
The ideal candidate will be degree educated in Biomolecular sciences with a demonstrable track record of successful business development, relationship marketing, meeting and beating sales targets and people management. You will also be prepared to travel to the US, Europe and ROW at irregular intervals.
